After our first Downtempo Day Party, we are very excited to bring another day of melodies al fresco, this time accompanied by our friends from Rituel Recordings, a music label which organise one of the best festivals in Paris, and what a story we have planned!

Setting ourselves upon the terrace of London's infamous Night Tales, some of the smoothest, dirtiest, vivid and eclectic beats will ricochet from the walls, and we can guarantee your feet will move. We’re extremely blown away by the talent we have joining us…

Seth Schwarz, is a talented musician able to create mighty bangers of truly symphonic dimensions. Seth's music is pure joy, so lively, so vivid, extremely catchy and with this unique feeling that you get when classical music meets the clubby bounce of a kick drum. It’s an honour for us to get his wonderful vibes and violin ready to hypnotise all this October.

Iorie is delicate and smart melodies, always able to go through all tempos to shake your body, move your heart and excite your mind. His music is always a journey in time with pitch-down drops, passionate lyrics and enigmatic also playful vibes.

All that, plus our home talent; our very own storyteller Fabïan with his live trumpet, Selin Asar with her live vocal set, Blue Dietrich, joining us once again with their live organic House and Downtempo act and a special b2b set by DJ Football and Joe Lewandowski to finish the day dancing to the funkiest disco vibes.

Our marketplace is also coming back to create the best festival vibes in the heart of Hackney. Laura Zabo and her beautiful upcycling accessories, Aneta Kwiatkowska – Revive massage therapy, glitters station and much more! Food will also be available with vegetarian and vegan options.

𝗦𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝘄𝗮𝗿𝘇 (𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲)

Seth Schwarz loves melodies and is a classically trained violinist. In his teens, he began to merge violin and other classical instruments with the digital sound playground. Seth incorporates elements of House, Techno & Electronica, while improvising with his violin for an emotional imprint and looping it through FX chains creating a unique signature on the virtual world of sound. He has given numerous concerts across Europe, Japan, North & Central to South America as well as India, The Middle East and Afrika amongst multiple times at Burning Man, Afrika Burn, Midburn, BOOM Festival, DGTL Festival Amsterdam, Tomorrowland, ADE, The BPM Festival and Fusion Festival to name a few. His powerful productions meet the expectations on the dance floor, yet at the same time they break the circle of imitation and repetition: often it's those who enter the scene from a different background who take the evolution of music to the next level – open-minded and curious instead of suffering from tunnel vision.

By merging the concepts of electronic music and classic composition he creates mighty bangers of truly symphonic dimensions. Instead of being a teenage club junkie and after-hour addict, Seth dedicated a great part of his youth to classical music. That's a really good thing for his liver function, and that's an even better thing for his creative style. It's not unusual for him to record up to 70 instrumental tracks for a new production - each one hand-played, of course. Classical music composition meets the clubby bounce of a kick drum: the result is extremely catchy and has a unique feeling.

In 2021 Seth is looking back on timeless productions as well as collaborations with sophisticated artists like Gabriel Ananda, Einmusik, Be Svendsen, Monkey Safari, Mollono.Bass, Beatamines, YokoO and many more. His music has been remixed by producers like Martin Waslewski, Wankelmut and the names above. He has been imprinting his music on sophisticated labels such as All Day I Dream, Katermukke, Einmusika, Infine, Bar25 and 3000 Grad to name a few. Seth has been successfully remixing Ben Böhmer, Rebecca & Pupkulies and The SkaZka Orchestra to mention a few.

Furthermore, Seth’s compositions are featured in various television series and movies. His latest achievement was scoring the music for the Berlin based cinematic film “FAUST” by Karsten Pruehl. He combines his classical training and musical background with collaborative talents for production and musical arrangement all while being a medical doctor specializing in radiation oncology at the University Clinic Halle in Germany.

𝗜𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲 (𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲)

Iorie is a producer and DJ from Germany. He started young singing, and playing instruments and combined it all later by starting to produce at the age of 15. His music ranges through all tempos always conjunct in the purpose to shake your body, move your heart and excite your mind. In his tracks, he uses the sounds of his travels and tries to capture all the encounters that come along them in personal, philosophical lyrics. In 2017 his music producer career starts growing up with releases on the labels such as Denature Records, Serafin Audio, Akumandra, The Magic Movement, Happy Camper Records, Metanoia, Leveldva and many more.. Now he is also playing live in concert, presenting his unique musical journey, mixing his vocal with material synthesizer and drum machines.

𝗕𝗹𝘂𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗲𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗵 (𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲) ʀɪᴛᴜᴇʟ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅɪɴɢꜱ

The DJ/Producer duo Blue Dietrich is composed by French singer Flora Valdona and Brazilian producer Felipe Paiva. Based in Paris, the two met in 2018 and started to blend Latin-American rhythms with French Touch electronica. In their live performances and Dj sets, they deliver a mix between soft voices and amazing machines. A certain texture of downtempo mixed with organic house, made at the same time to dance or chill, depending on the sunset..

𝗗𝗝 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 ʀɪᴛᴜᴇʟ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅɪɴɢꜱ

After years of experiences jobs in the music industry since 2014, DJ Football is born. It was time for him to launch his marked identity project and deliver his approach to the electronic music scene. Behind the deejay a long history around football has been created through a pure passion, he played the ball for 10 years and almost integrated professional teams, after being rank 4th at the PSG Academy internship when he was 15 years old. It’s now the moment to share his specific music taste, through his releases and performances. His vision of DJ set is filled with many genres, and don’t like borders or limited spectrum. In 2022, he created the vinyl label Madame Loyal, a subpart of the well-known French event parade, with artists' appearances like Jeff The Fool, Herr Krank and Mr Boo, a mixtape coming in September.

𝗝𝗼𝗲 𝗟𝗲𝘄𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗸𝗶 ʀɪᴛᴜᴇʟ ʀᴇᴄᴏʀᴅɪɴɢꜱ

Joe Lewandowski’s first foray into music traces back to the various local Parisian rock bands he played in as a guitarist. Moving to New York offered him the opportunity to reconnect with the classic house and techno sound he grew up listening to with his older brothers, which ultimately led him to start DJing and organizing parties in Brooklyn. Back in Paris, he became resident DJ of legendary club Garage and started crafting a sound that became his signature: a no-genre, spontaneous approach seamlessly blending Leftfield House and Techno, Italo, Acid and Disco, inspired by some of the biggest names he had the chance to play with.

As a producer, he quickly became a very prolific artist, putting out releases on well-established labels like Skylax and exciting newcomers such as AMSEM. 2019 saw him playing in cities like Berlin, Tel Aviv, Mexico, Lyon or Bordeaux and hosting regular shows for Le Mellotron and Rinse FM. He recently started to play his first live shows this year where he blends rock guitars with his techno beats.

𝗙𝗔𝗕Ï𝗔𝗡 𝗔𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝗝𝘂𝗹𝘆

Fabïan enjoys sliding into the role of a musical alchemist when he approaches his craft; building eclectic, often transcendental storylines, developed through his deep devotion to downtempo and electronica. Growing up as a jazz and classical musician, it's only natural for him to recite his roots during his DJ sets, which is why you'll often find him energising the crowd and putting a stamp on his sets with his live trumpet licks, bringing a unique foot-jamming swing to the table, as he dances effortlessly between feelings of raw intensity, emotive melodies, laced with chunky bluesy/jazzy grooves and bass-lines. This year, after independently learning music production during the pandemic, Fabïan plans to release his first EP.

𝗦𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻 𝗔𝘀𝗮𝗿 (𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲)

Selin is a Turkish-born, London based singer/songwriter and DJ/Producer, teaching voice and piano lessons for over 8 years. Selin discovered a spark for electronic music and sought to combine it with vocal harmonies and loops; when entering the DJ world. Her entrance is followed by her debut single, she describes her music as emotive electronica with an oriental twist. As a DJ She loves harmonising Ambient/ Electronica/ Downtempo/ Organic, Ethnic, Progressive, Afro and Melodic House and live performances mixed straight into her sets. Her skills in creating vocal harmonies, loops and improvisations all in a live setting, work together with her skills as an electronic music DJ to create a hybrid musical and mystical experience.
